Immerse your self in design as you take an innovative approach to building design. You'll handle digital technology, environmental awareness, construction, clinic, ethics, history and theory as you visualise the innovative surroundings of tomorrow.

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or even 30 in English (EAL). Selection will be produced using a Range of Criteria that can include (but not be limited to): Online Digital Portfolio: Applicants need to submit a portfolio of up to 8 pages, that must handle some architecture-related questions and include visual examples. In your portfolio, we're on the lookout for evidence of one's ability to think spatially, seriously and creatively, in addition to the desire to create and build objects. In analyzing your portfolio, then we'd like to see your ability to conceptualize and develop ideas. Also as outcomes, we're also curious in theory working or sketches drawings that display your own thinking procedure. Inferior works include (but are not limited to) product design, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, photography, visual art, graphic design or other visual media. We usually do not expect you'll see just architectural drawings, digital or plans renders but might ideally want to see a selection of visual examples. Think carefully about the way you present your own portfolio as we may even consider how you design your content into a clean, compelling story about your own and your passion , and commitment to, architecture. To file your portfolio, then simply follow the drives during your application procedure. Please note, applications for Round 1 closing 9th December 2018. Any applications submitted following this date will be viewed for additional rounds. Non-Year 12 entry: Completion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification (including Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Associate Degrees and Degrees). Added performance criteria and requirement requirements can also apply. Students admitted to the class with prior tertiary studies that satisfy part of the academic requirements of this class could be eligible for academic credit. Applicants without a formal qualification but with significant and appropriate work experience will be considered if they can demonstrate they can tackle the course with a fair prospect of success. The faculty may determine selection criteria and restrictions in respect of courses to employ in addition to all those entrance requirements. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of one of the following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 high degree ) with overall 65 percent, all skills 65 percent
  • Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 75 using a hearing band at least 18 and writing band at least 20
  • Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills less than 50)
  • every other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency. Notice: A necessity for several courses, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done on campus in Hawthorn.
