Digital Humanities

Digital technology is affecting practically every part of the knowledge market and can be driving advances in all sectors of society. Many jobs require broad competencies and understandings of the powerful position of technology in contemporary society. There is also an increasing requirement for computing and applications skills including such as research and investigation of data. The Master of Digital Humanities, in supplying a unique mix of postgraduate units from the School of Humanities and Communication Arts and the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics, will allow pupils to develop technical as well as theoretical skills in this field.

• Undergraduate or post graduate degree in communication, artwork, information technology, society and culture, or even the creative arts or a Diploma in ICT/Computing/IS areas and five years fulltime equivalent work experience in Information and Communications Technologies which includes experience in applying skills in: programming
• Networking
• Branding design and creation
• Systems design and analysis
• And job management.
