The Graduate Certificate in Disability Practice is an Entirely online Class designed and taught by leading researchers in La Trobe University's Living with Disability Research Centre. The Living with Disability Research Centre is one of Australia's preeminent research centres that excels in the understanding and improving practice and service systems that encourage individuals with cognitive disabilities to be contained in society and also have a good life. This course provides professionals from the disability sector or people that work in mainstream businesses, such as health, education or legal, using a chance to develop knowledge and expertise to boost their confidence and clinic at working directly with individuals with disabilities and their loved ones. It will also equip them to understand the current disability landscape at any given time of significant reform and tackle disadvantage through system degree change.
