Requirements for the Double Bass Guitar Programme at Franco Vittadini Institute of Music Studies

The Double Bass Guitar Programme at Franco Vittadini Institute of Music Studies is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful double bass guitarist. To be accepted into the programme, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of experience playing the double bass guitar.
• A minimum grade of C in music theory and/or music history.
• A minimum grade of B in aural skills.
• A minimum grade of B in sight-reading.
• A minimum grade of B in improvisation.
• A minimum grade of B in music composition.
