Study programme aims:

  • Prepare professionals who are able to integrate and apply complexly the knowledge of economical theories, management of economical processes and economical engineering, covering both the economy and other fields of social life, science and technology progress; characterized with bright inter-directional and inter-discipline competencies, which enable to use integrally advanced achievements of engineering sciences for the economical knowledge and solution of economical problems and to assess adequately the technological, ecological, social, cultural and other circumstances resident in modern economical development.
  • To prepare e-business economics specialists, which have complete knowledge about network economy science and technology advancement, knowledge economy formation processes and trends; are capable to understand and use main economics theories and economical analysis for development of e-business; are capable to evaluate changes of the external and internal e-business environment, analyse and choose new possibilities for e-business; are prepared to make independent systemically justified e-business decisions in knowledge economy context.
  • To prepare specialists for business and public sector organizations, which are capable to complex analyse and foster social economical development and science and technology advancement processes, economically justify, plan, project and participate in implementation of innovation, are able to project innovative activity, prepare and manage documentation for innovation planning, implement management functions for administration of innovation creation and implementation, have a broad view and knowledge about prossibilities for innovative activity.
  • To prepare specialists for business and public organizations: which are capable to complex analyze and foster economic development and advancement processes, to economically justify, plan and participate in implementation of investment economics projects; are capable to implement economical work functions for planning, organization and qualitative justification of economical decisions, for preparation and managing of documentation for investment projects, to implement economical functions for administration of economics projects; are able to prepare and implement economically justified management decisions; have broad view and knowledge about needs for investment and economics forecast.
  • To prepare specialists for business and public sector organizations which are capable to complex analyse and foster social economical development and science and technology advancement processes and initiate, economically justify, plan and participate in implementation of international economics relations, are prepared to implement economical work functions for projecting, preparation and management of documentation in international economics relations field, administrate international economics relations, have broad view and knowledge about possibilities for international relations possibilities.
  • To prepare economics specialists: with systematic common and specialized knowledge; are capable to use this knowledge for analysis, evaluation and justification of market subjects interrelations; capable to solve relevant for every organization contemporary business and democratic work relations problems of systemic analysis, multi-criteria evaluation and planning and systematically improve those relations; are capable with exceptional knowledge and competencies to compete in national and global work markets, which are characterized by big competition and dynamics.
  • To prepare broad profile specialists for business companies, which are capable to implement various economical and management functions for creation and development of business, for managing companies and departaments; prepared to make independent decisions using system, critical and constructive thinking; are able to react flexible on the changes and needs of company and environment; which have a broad view on contemporary science and technology development, technology advancement, processes and priorities of knowledge economy formation; are capable to formulate high level study objectibes and prepared for indepented studies.
  • Prospective study programme results:

    • Z1. To know the theories of fundamental world-view and humanitarian sciences, seeking to know and evaluate comprehensively and with systematic approach economical, scientific and technological progress phenomena.
    • Z2. To know the categories, principles and methods of economical theories and economical engineering, supplemented with the fundamental knowledge of adjacent sciences and possibilities of innovative practical research methods and which make the assumptions to solve economical problems practically.
    • Z3. To know the entirety of economy subject's economical relations, the market operation mechanism, the main forms of market organization, making it into the main resource and tool of economic value creation.
    • Z4. To know the country's, international economical and business environment processes, identify and exploit the plenty and necessity of globalization and European Union integration processes and international relations, making them the economic activity's efficiency measure and educational possibility.
    • Z5. To know the basic principles forms of business organization, behavior of economical subjects, transaction's importance for business development possibilities, project-based management of its implementation, finding the least-cost opportunities to implement the transaction.
    • Z6. To know the innovative processes and e-business as the economical factors of business efficiency, which require non-traditional resources and accessibility of conditions, along with its own value creation and risk management laws, guaranteeing the strengthening of business competitiveness and the success of all economical process.
