The Bachelor of Education (Secondary)/Bachelor of Science delivers a teaching qualification having the power to show science disciplines. Students take part in advanced approaches to teaching and learning at a second faculty. Students also learn how to reflect on the social, ethical and professional expectations which the growth of technology contributes into the classroom and into the character of learning. The degree comprises three job placements at a second school (80 days as a whole ).
Candidates will be qualified for provisional registration by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) as secondary educators, and from mutual arrangements with teacher education governments in other countries they are eligible for provisional registration in most Australian states and territories.
Conclusion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification (including certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, associate degrees and amounts ). Additional performance criteria and requirement requirements can also apply. Applicants using to transfer from the other initial teacher education class has to disclose all LANTITE (National Literacy and Numeracy Exam for Initial Teacher Education Students) attempts. Applicants that have unsuccessfully attempted the LANTITE three or more times won't be eligible to get an offer. All applicants need to maintain a current Dealing with Children Check (from the proper State Authority) and also a current Police Check during the duration of the Program. All applicants (both standard entry and non-year 1-2 entrance ) must sit down the CASPer test. All candidates should demonstrate acceptable English language proficiency for successful conclusion of their course.
