Within this application, students will gain skills to step-up as a project leader, consultant or director with all the data lead the introduction of innovative technologies and operating techniques. As part of the application, students will conduct an independent research project which may be analytical, experimental, design or computational. As well as developing extensive knowledge and skills in electrical engineering, students will gain teamwork, design, project management and research abilities. This will equip students to accept jobs in engineering, operations, management or consultancy.

The program will not have certification by Engineers Australia. This program is going to be filed for full certification by Engineers Australia as soon as it is feasible to accomplish this within the certification time lines set by Engineers Australia.

  • An Australian bachelor degree with a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 in technology, technology science or technology technology (or equivalent qualification) with a major study in electric or electronic technology
  • or even a Master of Engineering by course work in electric or electronic engineering. Applicants must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) equal to or over 2.5 out of 4.0
  • However applicants that possess a GPA between 2.0 and 2.5 along with a minimum of two years' relevant work experience may also be considered.
