This internationally oriented and globally relevant master degree programme focuses both on the provision and distribution of energy and on transport planning while addressing associated environmental impacts. The curriculum includes a number of electives, which can be flexibly combined in accordance with students’ chosen specialisations. In the field of energy for example, you canchoose to specialise in photovoltaics, hydropower or petroleum engineering.

The options available in the field of transport range from urban distribution logistics through to railway systems and road safety. The business aspect of the programme focuses on international financing, risk management and business management. Projects are a key feature of the programme. This master degree programme is designed for graduates of the bachelor degree programme in Energy, Transport and Environmental Management at FH JOANNEUM, but is also open to graduates of other universities who meet the entry requirements. This includes degrees in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, transport technology or process engineering.

The following are basic requirements for formal admission or participation in the admissions procedure:Special entry requirements:completion of a relevant bachelor degree programme. The following degree programmes, for instance, meet the entrance requirements: Energy, Transport and Environmental Management (FH JOANNEUM), Industrial Management (FH JOANNEUM), Production Technology and Organisation (FH JOANNEUM), Energy and Environmental Management (FH Pinkafeld) and Railway Infrastructure Technology (FH St. Pölten).completion of a similar and equivalent degree programme at a recognised post-secondary educational establishment in Austria or abroad. A minimum of 20 ECTS credits is required in the three core subject areas of business administration, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
