Engineering (Computer Systems) and Computer Science

While specialising in the engineering field areas of electronic technologies, computer systems and communication systems, this dual level broadens the total understanding of students in areas that are complementary for their own engineering skills. There is an increasing requirement in high technology industries and research centers, especially in the areas of robotics, data engineering, cyber security and telecommunications, for both engineers with knowledge and professional skills in job management, applications creation and relevant parts of engineering.

University admission requirements apply. All applicants need to possess Mathematics: Procedures ATAR, with equivalents believed, and Physics ATAR or Engineering Studies ATAR, using equivalents considered. It is desirable that all applicants possess Mathematics: Specialist ATAR, with equivalents considered.
