Pcs engineering demands in-depth knowledge of digital and analogue electronic technologies along side a thorough comprehension of computer architecture, applications design and hardware-software interfacing.Graduates with this course will probably be familiar with all aspects of computing from the development and application of individual micro processors, to the design of personal, mainframe or supercomputer systems, as well as realtime and embedded systems implementation, robotics, and applications engineering. The program focuses on the evolution of knowledge and skills pertinent to professional engineering practice and along side a solid theoretical base, includes strong components of practical problem solvingteam work and job development. Because of this, as well as having multiple technical and transferable skill competencies, graduates will obtain strong analytical skills, and also have the capacity to lead complex projects. The course gives a solid basis in mathematics, and at the fundamentals of engineering and electronics design fundamentals in the first two decades of study, along with important personal computer technology and programming fundamentals. In the last two decades of study, complex themes from both electronics and computer systems engineering areas are covered including applications engineering, data systems and communication systems, digital signal processing systems, realtime embedded systems, industrial control, and robotics to organize students to successfully enter their preferred career with relevant knowledge and skills. The first year with this course involves a couple of eight units which can be typical across all engineering honours courses. This enables students the chance to develop a better comprehension of the a variety of engineering areas on offer and also the flexibility, if desirable, to modify to another engineering discipline/course without penalty after the first period of analysis.

University admission requirements apply. All applicants are required to have Mathematics: Procedures ATAR, together with equivalents believed, and Physics ATAR or Engineering Studies ATAR, using equivalents considered. It is desirable that candidates have Mathematics: Specialist ATAR, together with equivalents considered.
