Graduate Diploma of Engineering will be to get nationally professional engineers that want to expand their understanding of contemporary engineering problems. It comprises four core subjects and an optional stream aimed to develop high level engineering skills in a given field area. The four flow areas and also their issues were chosen after consultation with the Engineering Advisory Board.

Conclusion of a four-year AQF level 1 Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) in a discipline cognate into the main one of those streams within this class.
