Why Electrical?
USQ’s Electrical Engineering program gives you the opportunity to get hands-on with modern electronic technology. With practical studies you will work with transmitters, microprocessors, power electronic converters, robotics, fibre optics and motors to prepare you for work out in the field. Electrical engineers design, build and operate electrical devices and systems from small scale transmitters to major projects in the fields of medicine, power and technology. With your graduate expertise, you’ll be able to secure a career as an Electrical or Electronic Technologist with major power companies including Ergon Energy, Origin and Energex.
