Biological Sciences (Biotechnology with Enterprise)

Our unique MSc Enterprise develops your enterprise skills, providing you with insights into how you can create economic and social value through entrepreneurial activity.
The programme includes key modules that focus on creating, developing and managing ventures, including social and family organisations. You will learn to identify new products, processes and markets to innovatively exploit opportunities.

You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher) and an interest in the subject but prior experience or qualification in this area are not required (please see equivalent qualifications to find out about entry requirements from non-UK countries). You should demonstrate your interest and commitment to developing entrepreneurial skills and thinking, by answering the following questions in your personal statement: Please describe your entrepreneurial experience to date and what aspects of the Leeds MSc Enterprise programme will be of particular value to you. English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6.5 TOEFL iBT® test: 92 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa.
