The Graduate Diploma in Event Management is designed to come up with high level management skills and comprehension sufficient to allow students to play a significant part in the preparation and delivery of the public and corporate events. The course seeks to develop professional competence, together with general leadership, management and critical thinking abilities, tasked with all the operation of the event manager role. The application contains a range of core issues that attempt to construct an understanding of the event project management process and general business-related skills and comprehension. The intent of the course is to develop students the requisite knowledge, knowledge and skills to make, plan, market and behavior both public and corporate events in Australian and global contexts. Graduates have the option of developing their careers in various areas, including: festivals, festivals, athletic events, conferences/meetings, charities, non-government organisations, hotels/resorts/cruise boats and places. In addition, graduates may want to build their careers in specialist aligned areas like event design/theming, event environmental preparation, venue management or hazard management/crowd get a handle on.

  • Applicants should have completed an UTS approved bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications which shows potential to pursue graduate studies. The English proficiency requirement of international students or community applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
