This qualification reflects the role of individuals operating at a senior level who use a broad selection of specialised managerial skills and significant understanding of event management processes to conceive, plan and point events. They operate with significant autonomy and are liable for making strategic business and event direction decisions.Events are diverse in character and this qualification provides a path to work for exhibition or event organisations operating in a variety of businesses, for example, tourism and traveland hospitality, and sports and cultural, and community sectors.The diversity of companies comprises exhibition or event management firms, event venues, or organisations which organise their own events.
