Exercise and Sport Science

Develop the skills to be a professional leader in sport and exercise science and allied fields, with a focus on the biological, sociological and behavioural bases of sport and exercise science. The class comprises 220 hours of practical experience --meaning you will graduate occupation ready with an advantage. Our worldclass centers enable you to master in elite environments. Even the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus' Elite Sports Precinct supports the activities of a wide range of athletes, from the Geelong Cats AFL team, to the student-based Deakin Ducks Soccer Club -- opening the door to out standing placement opportunities for students. Our newest specialised indoor training and sport science building at the Melbourne Burwood Campus features four levels of state-of-the-art science learning centers, giving a wide range of hands on learning experiences for students.

Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).

Entry will be based on performance in Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English EAL (English as an additional language) or at the very least 25 in English apart from EALor equivalent.
