The job of Film and Television is heavily handson and project-based, allowing students to balance creative practice theory with practical production experience, which enables them to explore and develop their individual imagination. The method is focused on the key creative areas of directing, producing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, sound and production design, and is taught by staff with long careers in the movie and tv industry. Students acquire skills in emerging and traditional production technologies, develop theater aesthetics, critical traits, and receive insight to both industrial and commercial characteristics of this global film and tv industry.

Bond University requires the successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent for entrance to Bachelor level apps. Bond does not rely solely on the Overall Position (OP) or the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR). Rather, a range of criteria will also be considered such as extra curricular activities and personal features, such as superb leadership qualities and community participation.
