The Master of Financial Technologies (high level ) enables students to apply emerging technologies over the financial sector. An advanced research component also gives a pathway to a PhD. You may learn to apply technology theories, critical thinking and problem solving methods in financial contexts. Additionally you will learn to communicate effectively within professional organizations, and build your leadership and management abilities. An independent research project allows you to make an original contribution to the area. After graduation, you can perhaps work as a technology consultant, or choose on project management or plan roles in financial services firms (especially those implementing emerging technologies or new business models). Seasoned professionals may advancement into finance, promotion, management or operations management jobs. Individuals interested in further study can pursue a research pathway.
- A recognised bachelor degree and three decades of work experience
- Or successful completion of this Graduate Certificate of Financial Technologies. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of one of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 advanced level degree ) with overall 70%, all of skills 65 percent
- Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
- TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 79 with a studying band a minimum of 18 and writing band a minimum of 20
- Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 5 8 (no real skills less than 50)
