The Bachelor of artwork is just a studio-based program involving a comprehensive investigation of studio practices and theoretical manifestation supported by individual tutorials, peer discussion and reviews. Studio areas offered at this degree include Ceramics, Painting, Photomedia, Printmaking or Sculpture. Drawing and Art History and Theory are core subjects that underpin the studio-based study throughout all three years of the course. The BFA program is intended to develop the creative liberty, wisdom, and experience required in each student for a career as a skilled musician, and also to develop the academic rigour required of further education at postsecondary degree.
