This class creates an environment where students may form their own set of skills to focus on the future careers as music professionals. It is a creative, practical course that makes it possible for musicians to generate new work over musical boundaries, so learn to record and distribute their works, and market their gift. Students create new music from the very first calendar year, and will compose and present job in an extensive array of styles and contexts, either in ensemble manners. They may choose pathways like creative technologies; performing and recording audio; composing media; and music industry management, promotion and social participation. In their third year, students focus their practice through involvement in transdisciplinary projects, which might involve film, dancing, play, games, writing and technical production. Purpose built industry-standard music recording studios let students to hone their skills in a professional setting, and they're able to highlight their job in Brisbane's live music venues.
