This three year parttime Master's program intends to provide professionals with the distinctive skills and knowledge to grow, assess and assess fire protection technology solutions for built environment. The course covers fire safety science and technology fundamentals. It is relevant to professionals developing alternative solutions employing the fire technology principles to meet with the objectives and performance requirements of construction regulations. Graduates may also find the capacity to independently appraise the literature and address fire protection technology issues faced by the construction industry. This course was designed primarily as a Distance Learning course. But a select unit (one in total) features a five day intensive cube mode required workshop that requires students to attend. Many of the different units have non-compulsory workshops and students are encouraged to go to these workshops to acquire the gain of the face area to face interaction within the course.
Bachelor degree in engineering, construction, structure, construction surveying, bushfire protection, architecture or physiological sciences.
