This plan will deepen students' knowledge in the civil engineering areas of infrastructure, design planning, agility, project management and transport engineering. The Master of Engineering (Civil Engineering) will provide students with advanced understanding and techniques in civil engineering to boost their career prospects in relevant industry businesses. The plan will provide students with skills to step up into roles including project leaders, designers, consultants and managers with the information and skills to lead construction projects, and introduce fresh infrastructure and transport processes.
Engineers Australia accreditation will be sought with this application in light of accreditation timelines.
- A bachelor degree in engineering, engineering science, engineering or engineering technology (or equivalent qualification) having a significant study in at least one of the subsequent relevant engineering disciplines: structural, civil , mining or ecological engineering, or engineering systems or equivalent
- Or a Master of Engineering by coursework in another of the relevant fields listed previously Applicants should have a Grade Point Average (GPA) corresponding to or over 2.5 out of 4.0
- But, applicants with a GPA between 2.0 and 2.5 and also a minimum of two decades of relevant job experience are also eligible for consideration.
