Food safety degree in Hungary
The MSc in Food Safety and Quality is an accredited master degree program from the University of Debrecen in Hungary.
The masters food safety degree is a natural follow up to a bachelor's degree and builds on your fundamental knowledge through research and application. The program focuses mainly on the following key areas:
- Raw material qualifying
- Processing technology
- Quality analysis
- Quality assurance
Coursework also includes Organic and Biochemistry, Food Safety and Quality, Food Processing Technology, Economics, Chemical and Microbiological Analysis.
Students in the MSc in Food Safety and Quality benefit from a close cooperation with faculty and staff. As a student in the program, you will get a personal academic tutor to help guide you through your education, and the program also includes a 4-week field experience component.

Upon completion of the program, you will receive a Master of Science in Food Safety and Quality.Careers:Postgraduates may progress to a PhD or find employment in food and dietetics science research, lecturing, consultancy or other science-based sectors of the food science industry.
