This course may be the first of its kind in Australia and also capitalises on the demand for food technologists with strong small business management and promotion skills. You'll gain the technical knowledge to perform in the food business and also the management and marketing skills to promote and design advanced services and products. The very first 2 yrs comprises base studies in food technology, nutrition and company. The 3rd season further develops your skills in food technology together with studies in food microbiology and processing, sensory evaluation, and consumer behaviour. Your company studies carry on with classes in business management and governance. The final year comprises high level level food technology and management subjects, and projects that could be linked with a bunch food business to employ developed knowledge in a real life context. Help to make Australian manufacturing competitive when you graduate with the ability to handle big scale food processing companies with a focus on global surgeries.

Graduates are eligible for Registration with the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST) and the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

Current Year 12 requirements units 3 and also 4-a study score of at least 20 in Mathematics (any) and a study score of at least 25 in just about any English (except EAL) or at least 30 in English (EAL).
