The master's programme in Forensics, Criminology and Law focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to crime and the administration of criminal justice. You will examine criminality and the gathering of evidence from different disciplinary perspectives. You will also gain an understanding of why forensic disciplines are so relevant in legal investigation and argumentation. This multidisciplinary approach makes the programme also interesting for non-jurists wishing to work in forensics. During the programme you will try to answer questions such as: *What are the causes of criminal behaviour? *How can we test the reliability of a witness statement? *How do judges come to their decisions? To broaden your understanding of forensics and research methods, you will work with three Maastricht University faculties: *Economics and Business Administration *Health, Medicine and Life Sciences *Psychology and Neuroscience This programme is also offered in Dutch: Forensica, Criminologie en Rechtspleging:http://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/web/Faculteiten/FdR/Doelgroep/AankomendeStudenten/Masteropleidingen/ForensicaCriminologieEnRechtspleging.htm
