The General Law LLM provides you with the opportunity to take advantage of a very flexible programme of taught modules and create a programme of study designed to suit your own interests and aspirations.

Students who successfully complete the Law LLM will have acquired significant research and analytical skills. They should therefore have substantially enhanced their prospects of gaining employment as professional or in-house legal advisors, company administrators and in other areas of work where the ability to apply and advise upon legal issues is significant.

Our LLM courses are accredited by the Law Society for CPD purposes. On successful graduation you are also automatically eligible for membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

The LLM programmes are open to those who possess one of the following: * a good honours degree in law (usually a 2:2 degree or above), OR a good joint honours degree (2:2 or above) where the major component is in law eg Accounting and Law or Combined Studies * a Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE), Legal Practice Course or Bar Vocational Course * a qualification as a solicitor or barristerWe welcome applications from international students.
