Together with your degree, you are going to learn all about the geology of our world - the structure, actual history, article, and energetic systems. You'll research our planet through the theory and field experience, use mapping, historical and technology statistics to construct conceptual models. You will learn how these models can help you estimate where mineral, water and other organic resources are located beneath the earth's surface. We will also educate you on how to extract all these resources in a sustainable method. In our degree you will also gain experience in identifying and mitigating natural hazards. The degree is extremely interactive and teaches one of the specialised skills you will need to work in this area. You can opt to specialise in exploration/mine geoscience or environmental geoscience. Additionally you will have the capacity to hone your field skills at globally famous websites in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. This program provides specialist training for those that want to pursue professional careers in mineral and oil mining, extractive industries, environmental science, and hydrogeology.
