This qualification reflects the function of people who combine technical, creative and technical knowledge to create designs that satisfy client requirements and solve a range of visual communication challenges. Exercise at this level is underpinned by application of design theory and practice and the capacity to analyse and synthesise information from a selection of sources to build design solutions.Practitioners may work in several different commercial and community contexts across both print and digital media.
