Description
This programme is designed for students with an interest in property design, investment, development and management. It provides an opportunity for students to experience a comprehensive range of disciplines associated with the property industry.
The programme will be of interest to those looking for a career in property consultancy intending to work within firms specialising in property investment, valuation or building surveying practice, for example.
In addition, the programme will be attractive to entrepreneurs who are looking to build a career in property development. There are also career opportunities within central and local government.
The university is investing £76 million in a new building to house the campus library, TV studios and academic facilities for disciplines including architecture, design and construction. Stockwell Street is a short walk from the Greenwich Campus and this programme will be delivered there from 2014.
The aims of the programme are:
- To produce professionals who are conversant with the investment, design, development and management of property assets
- To develop practical and theoretical skills related to the property profession
- To develop transferable skills to allow the graduate a wide range of career opportunities within the business environment.
