Admissions Criteria include:

  • Application Fee
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher required for admission to UMR
  • Recommended minimum cumulative STEM GPA of 2.5 for all attempts of prerequisite science courses within five years of application
  • Grade of C- or higher in all science prerequisite and liberal education courses
  • Patient care experience (please note each track within the BSHP may have different requirements for patient care experience)
  • Official High school transcript (only if a bachelor's or associate's degree has not been awarded)
  • Official College Transcript(s)
  • Application Essay (300 to 500 words)
  • Personal Interview conducted by each tracks admissions committee
