Prepares students in order to make a beneficial contribution to enhancing the health of communities. Health science is the study of their physical, emotional, societal, and environmental dimensions of health. Students graduate with theoretical and practical expertise and skills in communication, team work, critical thinking, innovation, and cross cultural and global comprehension. They are highly sought after and may pick from a range of interesting and lively livelihood pathways.Students can opt to take two eight-unit majors, or even a major and minor, in these disciplines: Addiction Studies, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Occupational Safety and Health. Instead, students may take a single 16-unit major inNutrition Bioscience or even Occupational and Environmental Health. A slight in Youth Work can also be available.
