Chinese Medicine is a system of health care that works holistically to maintain or restore balance, stability and order in our bodies. Chinese Medication doctrine relies upon the yin/yang principle of balancing and harmonising requirements in your system. This amount covers all of the important regions of Chinese Medicine including acupuncture and Oriental herbs. Students find the balancing act of Yin and Yang and also the way the disharmony of energy (Qi or Chi) can lead to disorder and poor health. Major study areas comprise: acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, ancillary techniques, cuppingand Chinese massage (tuina ), nutritional supplements, exercise and lifestyle advice. Students may also know about the causes to inadequate health such as pathogens, environment, dietary irregularities and stress related emotional problems and see exactly these impacts could cause ill health.
