Double degree programme HSE University and ESCP (Paris, France)

The BSc in International Business is a double degree programme offered by HSE University in partnership with the leading business school ESCP Europe.

The program prepares graduates capable of managing international companies in the context of transforming business models, changing approaches to project management and people management.

The training is carried out in the format of the HSE double diploma program together with the leading school of business in Europe and the world ESCP Europe. The first half of the training takes place in Moscow, the second half - in one of the three European campuses of the school.

Career Opportunities

Bachelors - graduates of the program can realize the acquired skills in organizational, managerial, information-analytical, entrepreneurial and research activities in the field of international business management as performers or managers of the junior level.

In particular, graduates can work as specialists in project offices, business development services, customer service departments, personnel management, and other departments of the international company management apparatus.

In addition, the acquired knowledge and competencies in the field of international business allow graduates to create, manage and develop their own businesses focused on international business and financial markets.

The Bachelor's degree program includes:

  • Disciplines of the general cycle (DOC);
  • Two complementary professional modules: basic (Major) and variative (Major var.);
  • Discipline Introduction to Data Culture (basic level) and independent assessments of programming competences (basic level), data analysis (basic level) and digital literacy;
  • 3 internships.

The disciplines of the general cycle are studied by students at HSE and include the theory of BWL, disciplines in physical education and sports, legal literacy, psychology, sociology.

The program is intended for people with secondary education. The first course of the program can be entered according to the results of the exam, Olympiads or internal tests in accordance with the Rules for admission to the HSE. The impact of the individual achievements of the applicant can be taken into account when entering.

Student recruitment criteria

Minimum scores for those entering according to the results of the Unified State Exam (USE) for foreign citizens:

  • Math (60 points)
  • English (70 points)

During the studies

The chain of disciplines of the basic module of the program is distributed over all years of study, with the first two years of the study process taking place at HSE HSE, the second two years of study - at the business school ESCP Europe.

Development of competencies and skills necessary for a successful career in international business takes place within the varied professional module (Major var.). Project seminars are a mandatory and basic element of this module, which are carried out in the first and second years of study.

The program includes 3 types of practices with different functions and tasks: professional, project and research.

The organization of professional practice takes place in the third and fourth years of study by ESCP Europe Business School in the form of compulsory industrial practice (fourth year).

The structure of project practice includes several stages: in the first year of study at NRU HSE in the form of compulsory course project "SWOT Analysis", in the second year of study at NRU HSE in the form of compulsory course project "Business Planning", in the third year of study at the business school ESCP Europe in the form of compulsory social project and execution of collective projects at students' choice.

The work on preparation of the graduate qualification work is carried out in ESCP Europe business school and is a compulsory type in the project or research type of internship depending on the type of ESCP chosen by the student.
