This Masters by Research program Finds Applicants Working Using a Main Director, Made by the Research Higher Degrees Subcommittee, with the Consent of the School. The absolute minimum of 1.5 years and no more than 2 years (full time equivalent), this level is awarded on the basis of the externally examined thesis of approximately 40,000 words.

Recognition by the majority of Universities for entrance in to research and teaching places. Recognition by professional bodies within Individual Movement to take part in research and development tasks associated with health, sport and physical exercise.

• Graduated with or qualified for a four year Honours Bachelor level, or Degree with Honours, at second class honours level, that comprised a dissertation demonstrating the capacity to undertake research in Masters level
• or hold credentials and/or have demonstrated skills, experience, research, or books that are assessed to be at least equivalent to the qualifications previously. Applicants who do not meet the requirements will probably be required to attempt an extra programme of study equivalent to a fourth year of advanced research study and research from the relevant field.
