Enhance your understanding of how the body functions
Human physiology is the science of the mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions of humans in good health, their organs, and the cells of which they are composed. The principal level of focus of physiology is at the functional level of organs and systems.
Anatomy and physiology are closely related fields of study, with anatomy being the study of form, and physiology the study of function. You can also choose to strengthen your appreciation of the connections between psychological and physiological aspects of human health, by combining with another discipline area, such as Psychology.
