Become familiar with through hands on experience and out of experts with connections into the health sector, community and government about ways to enable a selection of people in the community. This includes families in need, younger or elderly people, and people managing injury or disability. You will find out about the human services are provided throughout Australia and produce a very clear understanding of the fundamentals of social justice and empowerment in the sector. On the very first year, then you must take core subjects. On your second and third decades, you will study areas like welfare, community and family, disability and ageing. You will complete a professional practice placement in your year. Honours Honours can be obtained with this degree (during an additional year of study).
