Individual Support

This qualification reflects the use of workers in the community and/or residential setting that follow an individualised intend to present person-centred support to folks who might require support because of aging, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support in addition to accepting responsibility for own outputs.Workers possess a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, in addition to some theoretical knowledge about the notions and techniques required to supply person-centred support.To achieve this qualification, the candidate should have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Prerequisites of these components of competency.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to the qualification during book.
