Individual Support

This qualification reflects the function of workers locally and/or residential setting that follow an individualised plan to give person-centred support to individuals who may require support because of ageing, disability another reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to human support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.Workers possess a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical understanding of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.To achieve this qualification, the candidate should have completed at least 120 hours of are detailed in the Assessment Prerequisites of these units of competency.No law, legislative, and regulatory or certification requirements affect the eligibility during publication.
