Individual Support

This qualification reflects the use of workers locally and/or residential surroundings who follow an individualised plan to give person-centred support to people who may require support due to aging, disability another reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement with regard to human support in addition to taking responsibility to get outputs.Workers possess a selection of factual, theoretical and technical knowledge, in addition to some theoretical knowledge about the notions and techniques required to offer person-centred support.To accomplish that qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.No law, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements affect this eligibility at the time of publication.
