Individual Support

This qualification reflects the function of workers in the community or residential surroundings who follow an individualised intend to present person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to human support in addition to taking responsibility for own outputs.Workers possess a selection of factual, technical and procedural expertise, in addition to some theoretical understanding about the concepts and methods required to provide person-centred support.To accomplish that qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of their units of competency.No licensing, legislative, and regulatory or certification requirements apply to the qualification during publication.
