This app is geared toward caregivers who attempt to boost their capacity around the administration of infectious disease control plans and those who want to switch to a career in infectious disease epidemiology. This program delivers an entirely online study program allowing participants to effectively incorporate their learning in their daily professional life minus the costly disturbance that face-to-face cooperation entails. Individual classes within this system have been developed in order to deliver a practice-based and accurate approach to this field of study.
- Applicants are required to have either: an undergraduate degree in an area related to public health or health management and 2 years full-time practitioner or volunteer experience (this may also have equivalent professional experience acquired as part of a level of 4 or more years interval )
- Or an undergraduate degree along with an honours or post graduate level in a field related to public health or health management. For example, but are not limited to, medicine, nursing, allied health, health sciences, biomedical sciences, dentistry, social work, sociology, behavioural and social sciences, social work, psychology, and marketing, human services, emergency services, environmental health, veterinary science, health management, business, management, technology, science, law, mathematics and statistics, economics, health policy studies and development studies. Software will be evaluated in accordance with the UNSW Recognition of Prior Learning Policy and Procedure.
