Specialise in network administration with our Master of Information Technology (Computer Networks). Students will focus on data communications and programs, system and networks security, network design and management, application protocol, and also wireless networks. Seminars on IT-related ethical, professional and societal problems are a key part of their education. Also as lectures, students have opportunities to finish a software engineering project, an industry-related project or create a little thesis on computer programs. Graduates will possess skills in Java programming and also the fundamentals of IT-related mathematics, algorithms and data structures, and system design technologies.
The Master of Information Technology (Computer Networks) is conditionally Licensed by the Australian Computer Society (ACS). Supporters of the Master of Information Technology (Computer Networks) may apply for membership together with the ACS. Membership may be subject to additional or continuing requirements beyond completion of the degree. Please contact the relevant body such as details.
