The Diploma of IT covers information systems, information technology and business issues including: technologies and techniques of organized systems analysis; major Information Systems present in a normal business; organized programming, theories and practice of object oriented programming; and also fundamental database concepts and techniques in the structure and manipulation of relational data bases. To prepare students for university study, the app provides preparatory postsecondary academic abilities subjects in addition to two business subjects. It is also a recognised pathway into the Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS) and the Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Wollongong. It provides students support to come up with abstract learning abilities to aid them to realize their goals for university studies, including training in English language proficiency.
