Cultural and language differences shape the everyday life of individuals and organizations in our increasingly interdependent and transnational world. These cultural and language entanglements include different histories and conflicts and are represented in different media and literature. The increased interconnectivity and transnational mobility of both people and mediated information demand new sensitivities and skills to understand, analyze and negotiate cultural differences. The Intercultural Studies program prepares students to analyze different contemporary contexts of identity negotiation and interaction and to engage in planning for professional interaction in globalizing spaces while enhancing language competencies. Students can choose from four different tracks:
Intercultural Studies (English)
Intercultural Studies (French)
Intercultural Studies (German)
Intercultural Studies (Latin America and Spain)
