Educational organisation
The Bachelor's programme consists of six to seven semesters and is organised as follows:- Two terms, each consisting of 14 weeks, with a subsequent examination period of three weeks and a semester break of five weeks
- Company and study project during the semester in the second year of study
- Bachelor's thesis in the third year of study (duration eight weeks)
- At least eight weeks of internship (in Germany or abroad) in the third year of study
The combination of classroom instruction, supervised work groups, and self-study is intended to make students more proactive and independent. Group projects with different topics, durations, and compositions enhance teamwork and conflict management skills.

Study abroad unit(s)
Students have the opportunity to spend one semester studying abroad, in addition to completing an international internship. They may choose from a wide range of partner universities in Europe, USA, Central America, and Asia.Internships
In total, the three-year programme includes 11 weeks of integrated practical projects (an eight-week work placement in a company in Germany or abroad and three weeks of project work) and a final thesis, which corresponds to eight weeks of coursework.Forms of assessment

Course objectives
The Bachelor's programme International Business Administration, Focus on Finance (BA) provides fundamental knowledge about the economy and management while focussing on theoretical and practical aspects of the financial and banking sectors. This degree prepares graduates for the business and management challenges of the 21st century. Graduates will understand the full breadth and depth of economic, financial, and business activities. They will also understand relations in an international context and will be prepared to work in a number of departments in different sectors such as:- General management

Graduates will also have the option to pursue an international career and find employment in the financial sector or in the finance department of a company from another sector. Possible employers are multinational companies, SMEs, start-ups, and governmental as well as non-profit organisations.
Language requirements
Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency. For instance: TOEFL (87 ibt), IELTS (Academic, minimum score of 6.5), TOEIC (Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150), CAE (Grade A, B or C), CPE (Grade A, B or C) or Pearson English Test Academic (PTE-A, 59 points).Native speakers, applicants who originate from a country in which English is the official language, or applicants with a school leaving certificate/ university degree from an English-speaking country or a school leaving certificate with English as the language of instruction (e.g. an IB certificate) can be exempted upon request.

Applicants must have either a German Abitur, Fachabitur, an International Baccalaureate Diploma, or a corresponding qualification of eligibility as an entrance qualification for university.Enrolment fees
