The English language Master of Arts course International Business is a further-reaching business degree course which imparts international economic knowledge.

You can individually select one of six core subjects:

* Tourism Event Hospitality Management

* Media Management

* Management Consulting

* International Trade

* European Management

* Emerging Markets

The degree programme course takes account of circumstances such as the increasing interweaving of the world economy due to globalisation and the emphasis placed on export within the German economy. Professors with several years' work experience and lecturers with an international background teach the critical business subjects at our university. You study economics topics within an international context in main seminars in all semesters, where you penetrate and process the problems academically, by means of case studies and course work. In the third semester, you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in two further elective economics subjects.

Broad qualification
The modules of the degree course in the personal skills area and a further foreign language round off your expert qualification. You can apply the knowledge you have already gained in a domestic or foreign company in practice in an industrial placement lasting eight weeks between the second and third semesters in a domestic or foreign company. The Master of Arts thesis in the fourth semester concludes your studies. During this period, you can complete a facultative semester abroad or - possibly to prepare your Masters' thesis - work in a company. Moreover, the Masters' Degree qualifies you to study for a doctorate.
