The UNSW Juris Doctor (JD) is the law degree for graduates of disciplines aside from law, or even with a law degree in an international institution. It gives the foundation for admission to legal practice, together with a broad range of careers in government, industry, societal and legal policy, or global relations.
The UNSW JD is Licensed by the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) and satisfies the academic component for admission to practise as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of NSW. To practise law in other countries graduates must satisfy the academic and eligibility standards in the particular authority. Always reference the appropriate authority or acknowledging human body in that country or condition.
As a result, to be competitive to get a CSP, students would have achieved at least a distinction average (75 percent or higher) within their Bachelor or Masters degree. To be competitive to get a full-fee place, students might have achieved at least a credit average (65 percent or higher).
