This system provides students with the core academic law subjects such as entry to training as a lawyer and it is acceptable for people desiring legal awareness and techniques for work at different professions. The first year provides students with foundation skills and knowledge for the study of law. From the final years a range of electives are offered to enable students to develop specialist knowledge through the study of legal problems directly affecting society. Students who want to seek admission as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland must enrol in LA4022:Civil Procedure, and LA4038:Legal Ethics and Trust Accounting.
