As a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) student you will join a long tradition of legal scholarship at the TC Beirne School of Law, developing knowledge and skills that can be used to shape societies, governments and, ultimately, the world.

  • The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is a four-year program designed to develop a high-level understanding of the law, along with personal and professional skills transferable across a wide range of careers.
  • Develop outstanding skills in critical, rational and analytical thinking, and learn how to craft clear and persuasive arguments. The program also meets the academic requirements for admission as a legal practitioner in Australia.

The courses offered in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) are set out in the course list. Each course is allocated a certain number of units . A standard full-time study load is 8 units per semester.

If you’re not a current school leaver, your application will be considered on an individual basis.

Prerequisites

Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) English.

English Proficiency

IELTS overall 7; writing 7; speaking 7; reading 6; listening 6.
