Linguistics: French Language and Linguistics

Apart from applying the French language on an academic level - all courses, papers and presentations are in French – this one-year programme offers language courses for special purposes, such as economic and legal French. You will discuss issues such as How do language and people influence each other? and What is the real function of language? Courses are tailored to your individual needs and interests. You will have the option to combine French linguistics with an other Romance language, or with one of the more than eighty different languages from all over the world that are studied in Leiden.
